Warped Tour '09

Okay, so I'll start with thing's I've learned at Warped Tour '09.
- SKA SUCKS!
It's just not good.
-DAVID SCHMITT IS MORE AMAZING THAN EVER.
Nothing but the truth.

Anyways;

Band 1: Hit The Lights:
They were really good. I've been a fan for a while and I was glad I got to see half of their show :)

Band 2: A Skylit Drive:
Gabby was eating so we missed the first few songs but we made it there before the set was over (thank goodness). It was good seeing them again. After the show I finally got to meet Jag <3.
He came out after he performed riding a scooter and said "Hey guys!" to me and my group because I said hi to him. I love his new hair; its very becoming and it makes him more of a hunk in my eyes ( ;
I'm glad they did the song's they did.

Band 3: The Mack Daddy of them all: BREATHE CAROLINA!

Now, these boy's have been my favorite band since I first heard 'Diamonds.' They (and A Skylit Drive) were my main reason for going to Warped Tour. David and kyle got up on stage and I was hypnotized from the moment the music started. Everyone was singing and dancing. It was just a great crowd. Kyle went crowd surfing and stood up, it was beyond wicked. Afterwards I rushed to the fence and GOT DAVID TO COME OVER AND TALK TO ME!!!!!! Last time I saw them a year ago I only got to meet Kyle but I wanted to meet David so desperately. He high fived me though the fence and it was amazing. I almost started crying. As I was talking to David Kyle came over and was wigging out about how he stood up. Then David said that he had to put his stuff away but he'd be out later and if I could find him we could hangout. Unfortunately I couldn't find him. they are still by far my favorite people.

Check out 'Hello Fascination' The second full length album from the boys of BC on August 18, 2009 (;

If you stop by their page; leave them some love and tell them Chelsie sent you :)

Band 4: The Maine:
Now here's a band I was pumped to see. They did amazing. The crowd surfers were crazy. The most amazing part was when John (the lead singer) got a Gatorade bottle thrown at him but just knocked it away and kept singing. He crowd surfed, as well. Their cover of Def Leppard's 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' was epic.

Band 5: All time Low:
Wow, Okay.. so ATL was CROWDED!! People were pushed on top of each other, and we were all packed in like sardines. I couldn't see a thing until I stood on the tips of my toes and tilted my head then I caught a glimpse of Alex Gaskarth. Once They started playing It got worse! We almost died. crowd surfer after crowd surfer came. As soon as one was up then next was up. We had to get out of there. We ran to the back of the crowd where I realized from where I was now standing I had a CLEAR VIEW of Jack and Alex the whole time. They did a great job; they're great live and we're very entertaining. They kept cracking very funny (and very inappropriate (; ) jokes. Alex is mad crazy and decided to tell everyone that instead of a mosh pit, he wanted everyone to run circles around the sound booth tent as fast as they could. That was entertaining. I was put in some very awkward situations there...
"Hi, I'm Mike" ... " I think you're supposed to take people out to dinner before that happens."
Anyone who was there with me will get that (;

Band 5: nevershoutnever:
I've listened to Christofer Drew for a while now. His songs were the soundtrack to my Summer 2008. I always wanted to see him live. Chris first came on stage and was Happy and light-hearted. He was like " Hi, I'm Chris. I hope we can be friends." I was mildly shocked because I never heard his speaking voice before, just his singing voice, and I would have never expected him to sound like that. He was wonderful and the vibe when he was playing was by far the best. Everyone watching was dancing and singing along and everyone in the crowd had a huge smile plastered to their faces. He was super happy and made everyone around him happy. He might be the most adorable man in this universe. I will never forget that show.

Band 6: 3oh!3:
Alright, this is sort of a bummer... I like 3oh!3 but I'm not their biggest fan at all. They, unfortunately aren't that amazing live, but they put on a great show so that sort of makes up for it.

Altogether Warped Tour '09 was a success! I saw all but three of the bands I wanted to but I was happy with the choices I made. I got the chance to see a lot of friends I haven't seen in awhile.
I'm super excited for Warped Tour '10!
